Stuart McQuhirr didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hamish Davenport recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Great Britain LIONS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Fergus came free, but Alexander Bonar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Great Britain LIONS FC's Sam Gray sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hugh Ewart narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ryan Fowler got free with Hugh Ewart in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Great Britain LIONS FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Bradley Stringer didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Sam Gray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malcolm McIvor in the 91st minute of play forced Freshwater United's goalkeeper Hugh Ewart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Malcolm McIvor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hugh Ewart having to interfere. Malcolm McIvor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Great Britain LIONS FC fully deserved thier win.
