In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lochailort's goalkeeper Rob McLaren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ronan McElfrish charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronan McElfrish the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Lochailort's Ronan McElfrish got a free kick in the 9th minute. If George Buntine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rob McLaren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ter Henderson, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Ter Henderson notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Lochailort's Rob McLaren. Rob McLaren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Ivan McHutchen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23 minutes of play, Harris's Ter Henderson made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rob McLaren was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Rob Kerr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Henry Barnes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Harris's supporters rose to their feet, but Henry Barnes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rob McLaren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rob McLaren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Barnes, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Harris's Jake Cunningham proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Harris from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ter Henderson in the 46th minute of play forced Lochailort's goalkeeper Rob McLaren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rob McLaren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ter Henderson in the 48th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Fergus Sorely made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Ivan McHutchen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Harris's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivan McHutchen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 53 played minutes Harris got a freekick which was hit by Rick McLea. Jake Cunningham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rob Kerr in the 60th minute of the match. After 66 played minutes Lochailort got a freekick which was hit by Timmy McVanish. Thanks to some nice moves Henry Barnes could shoot a difficult shot in the 67th minute, which Rob McLaren however easily saved by the left post. Rob McLaren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ter Henderson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ter Henderson succeeded in the game's 72nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. Ivan McHutchen struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Rob McLaren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Harris. Rob McLaren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan McHutchen, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 80th match minute, Lochailort was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timmy McVanish to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute of the match, Ter Henderson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rob McLaren saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rob McLaren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henry Barnes's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Rob McLaren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ter Henderson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fergus Sorely in the 95th minute of play forced Harris's goalkeeper Jake Cunningham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harris's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
