Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dougal McBeolain made the kick off which started today's match. When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Ter Henderson took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Bob McRob to make any attempt to save it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ter Henderson in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bob McRob prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 13 played minutes Kirknewton got a freekick which was hit by Christopher Dempsie. Jake Cunningham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dougal McBeolain in the 16th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neil Gray in the 17th minute of play forced Harris's goalkeeper Jake Cunningham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dougal McBeolain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Harris's Chris Dallas got a free kick in the 21st minute. If Christopher Dempsie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jake Cunningham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Phil McCreath, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Ivan McHutchen got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 30th minute, Dougal McBeolain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bob McRob took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ter Henderson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ter Henderson struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Bob McRob didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Harris. Ter Henderson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the game, Rick McLea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Bob McRob was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Christopher Dempsie hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ter Henderson to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ter Henderson in the 53rd minute of play forced Kirknewton's goalkeeper Bob McRob to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Kirknewton getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Neil Gray hit a great ball. After having played for 64 minutes, Ivan McHutchen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Harris's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivan McHutchen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ter Henderson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Bob McRob tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ter Henderson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 76 minutes, Euan Forrest mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kirknewton and the Harris players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Harris booed when Kirknewton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Euan Forrest didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 79 minutes of play, Kirknewton's Dougal McBeolain made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jake Cunningham was left in no man's land by his defense there! Neil Gray succeeded in the game's 82nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-2. Bob McRob didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ter Henderson went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. Harris's Jake Cunningham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neil Gray in the 91st minute of play. Henry Barnes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jake Cunningham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dougal McBeolain in the 95th minute of play. There was no doubt that Harris were the better team. Harris's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
