Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) skillage fc's Harold Spittel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ter Henderson kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Jake Cunningham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harold Spittel, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 11th minute Harold Spittel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jake Cunningham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miles Rorison made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henry Barnes in the 12th minute of play. With a little luck, Harris's Jake Cunningham got control of the ball when Nicol Alistair tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 20th minute Ter Henderson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miles Rorison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Ter Henderson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ter Henderson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Miles Rorison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adam Crossley hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind skillage fc's goalkeeper Miles Rorison, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ter Henderson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miles Rorison having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ter Henderson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ter Henderson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Harris booed when skillage fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmond McNeilage didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ter Henderson struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Miles Rorison didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Harris. Miles Rorison made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ter Henderson in the 65th minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Edmond McNeilage was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. skillage fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Harris the free kick. A collision led to skillage fc getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Edmond McNeilage hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Barnes in the 82nd minute of play forced skillage fc's goalkeeper Miles Rorison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thomas McNamell charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thomas McNamell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 85 played minutes skillage fc got a freekick which was hit by Thomas McNamell. In the 87th minute Harold Spittel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jake Cunningham saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicol Alistair recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Harris players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
