Seating: 1855, VIP seats: 0) Cameron Archibald took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fergus Sorely, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Lochailort's Fergus Sorely slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cameron Archibald. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. hc barmy army's Cameron Archibald played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fergus Sorely in the 11th minute of play. Chris McWattie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 20 played minutes Lochailort got a freekick which was hit by Timmy McVanish. Frankie Shannon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rob McLaren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. hc barmy army's Chris McWattie got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chris McWattie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rob McLaren having to interfere. The supporters of hc barmy army booed when Lochailort was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timmy McVanish didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
