Spectators: 8002 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1852, VIP seats: 150) Phil Begg started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 2 played minutes Riverside United F.C got a freekick which was hit by Phil Begg. 4 minutes into the match, Harris's Ter Henderson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gareth McKeith narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 7th match minute, Harris was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miles McColman to maneuver through the defense. When Darius McCamie came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Riverside United F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Darius McCamie couldn't finish the play. In the 13th minute, Ter Henderson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Harris fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 16th minute Ter Henderson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gareth McKeith saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ter Henderson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gareth McKeith having to interfere. 19 minutes into the game, Ter Henderson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Harris's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Riverside United F.C the free kick. A collision led to Harris getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ter Henderson hit a great ball. Gareth McKeith made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ter Henderson in the 29th minute of play. After 31 minutes, Rory Lonie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Riverside United F.C and the Harris players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Riverside United F.C's Rory Lonie got a free kick in the 31st minute. Gareth McKeith showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ter Henderson in the 33rd minute of the match. Henry Barnes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Gareth McKeith tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ter Henderson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gareth McKeith having to interfere. After some careless play in the Riverside United F.C defense, Ter Henderson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gareth McKeith. The Riverside United F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gareth McKeith should have stopped the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ter Henderson was the one to do the kick off. Jake Cunningham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Phil Begg, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Gareth McKeith made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ivan McHutchen in the 59th minute. When Steven Cousland fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Riverside United F.C's protests and gave Steven Cousland a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Harris booed when Riverside United F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steven Cousland didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ter Henderson in the 63rd minute of play forced Riverside United F.C's goalkeeper Gareth McKeith to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Riverside United F.C's zone, Ter Henderson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gareth McKeith came out of the goal and Ter Henderson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Harris getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Ivan McHutchen hit a great ball. Darius McCamie missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 80 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Jake Cunningham right hand side. After a rather tough play, Harris's Tommy McGilchrist got a free kick in the 84th minute. Gareth McKeith showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan McHutchen in the 88th minute of the match. Gareth McKeith stood somewhat misplaced when Ter Henderson came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 89 minute. In the 92nd match minute, Riverside United F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phil Begg to maneuver through the defense. Ter Henderson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over Harris could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Riverside United F.C throughout the match.
