Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Munro Doig took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience was convinced that Barry Enrick's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dylan Ewart was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. With an all-out effort, FC Drobeta's Dylan Ewart threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jay McKean, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Barry Enrick received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Dylan Ewart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 8 minutes, Richard Cochrane managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Drobeta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Richard Cochrane was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Barry Enrick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Munro Doig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Barry Enrick who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Dylan Ewart when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Barry Carstarphen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Greig McFeat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Drobeta's Barry Enrick got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barry Enrick in the 25th minute of play forced Thurso AFC's goalkeeper Dylan Ewart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barry Enricks short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Dylan Ewart to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 29th minute, Barry Enrick fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Barry Carstarphen in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Greig McFeat saved FC Drobeta from getting behind. Greig McFeat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Munro Doig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dylan Ewart made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Barry Enrick sent off a good shot on target. In the 39th minute, Gus Andrews hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dylan Ewart took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barry Enrick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Richard Cochrane might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dylan Ewart. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Richard Cochrane ran back to his position shaking his head. Barry Enrick's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Dylan Ewart skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Barry Enrick stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Thurso AFC defense, Kyle Kean kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dylan Ewart. The Thurso AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dylan Ewart should have stopped the shot. In the 64th minute, Barry Enrick left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Drobeta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Barry Enrick managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Drobeta's supporters rose to their feet, but Barry Enrick was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dylan Ewart breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Richard Cochrane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Barry Enrick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Barry Enrick in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dylan Ewart saved Thurso AFC from getting behind. When Barry Carstarphen came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Thurso AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barry Carstarphen couldn't finish the play. Dylan Ewart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barry Enrick in the 89th minute of play. After having played for 91 minutes, Kyle Kean managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Drobeta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kyle Kean was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute, Gus Andrews hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Drobeta fully deserved thier win.
