Crazy Monks F.C.'s Ross McSymon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruce Thomson in the 22nd minute of play. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Barry Enrick sped through Crazy Monks F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ross McSymon. A collision led to FC Drobeta getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Declan Sanderson hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Barry Enrick put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Ross McSymon. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Barry Enrick managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Drobeta's supporters rose to their feet, but Barry Enrick was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ross McSymon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 37 minutes into the match, FC Drobeta's Barry Enrick sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ross McSymon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. FC Drobeta's Richard Cochrane got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ross McSymon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruce Thomson, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. A collision led to Crazy Monks F.C. getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Alan Haddon hit a great ball. Jay McKean recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brandon McVeagh to strike the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Barry Enrick made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Crazy Monks F.C.'s Ross McSymon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of FC Drobeta booed when Crazy Monks F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Haddon didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Ross McSymon managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when FC Drobeta's Barry Enrick fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Barry Enrick came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the FC Drobeta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barry Enrick couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Barry Enrick got free with Ross McSymon in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 73 minutes into the game, Marcus Harold was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Crazy Monks F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Drobeta the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Crazy Monks F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 74 minutes, FC Drobeta's Bruce Thomson got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ross McSymon. 77 minutes into the match, FC Drobeta's Barry Enrick sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ross McSymon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 82nd minute Brandon McVeagh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Greig McFeat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the game, FC Drobeta's Mike Kay nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ross McSymon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. The crowd rose to their feet as Barry Enrick kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ross McSymon. That made the score 0-9 in the 92 minute of play.
