Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Barry Enrick took the kick off in the first half of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Barry Enrick kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Samuel McHugh. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. After some careless play in the Salsburgh F.c defense, Barry Enrick kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Samuel McHugh. The Salsburgh F.c fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samuel McHugh should have stopped the shot. Charles McGillivantic succeeded in the game's 16th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. Salsburgh F.c's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Barry Enrick scored to the left of an out of position Samuel McHugh, making the score, 3-1. Henry Comine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Greig McFeat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Comine, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After having played for 30 minutes, Barry Enrick managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Drobeta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Barry Enrick was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kyle Kean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the match, Salsburgh F.c's goalkeeper Samuel McHugh had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Barry Enrick. Jay McKean recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Barry Enrick who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Samuel McHugh when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Evan Cavanagh's late challenge caught a FC Drobeta's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evan Cavanagh helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Salsburgh F.c's Evan Cavanagh got a free kick in the 45th minute. With a little luck, Salsburgh F.c's Samuel McHugh got control of the ball when Barry Enrick tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Henry Comine made the kick off in the second half. Salsburgh F.c's Samuel McHugh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyle Kean in the 57th minute of play. The FC Drobeta fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when FC Drobeta's Barry Enrick looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Samuel McHugh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Cochrane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Barry Enrick came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the FC Drobeta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barry Enrick couldn't finish the play. Samuel McHugh didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Barry Enrick went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. After 80 played minutes Salsburgh F.c got a freekick which was hit by Daniel McGillivray. 81 minutes into the match, FC Drobeta's Bruce Thomson broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Greig McFeat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Charles McGillivantic in the 83rd minute. In the 91st minute Charles McGillivantic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Greig McFeat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mike Kay charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mike Kay the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 92nd minute, Mike Kay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97th minute, one of FC Drobeta:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Drobeta. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Drobeta had played much better football throughout.
