Spectators: 4845 (Terracing: 3000, Seating: 1845, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Henry Comine started the match with the kick off. Henry Comine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Ross McSymon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6th minute, Henry Comine made a precise shot to the right of Ross McSymon. Crazy Monks F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Henry Comine struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Ross McSymon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salsburgh F.c. 10 minutes into the match, Crazy Monks F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Henry Comine came free, but Ross McSymon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th match minute, Crazy Monks F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darius Begg to maneuver through the defense. Henry Comine blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ross McSymon having to make a save. Evan Cavanagh kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Rob McKelloch was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 18th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 19th minute Brandon McVeagh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel McHugh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evan Cavanagh hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Brandon McVeagh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Samuel McHugh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Salsburgh F.c getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Evan Cavanagh hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, Salsburgh F.c's goal looked a bit too open when Brandon McVeagh came free, but Samuel McHugh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samuel McHugh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Derek Corbet in the 26th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Charles McGillivantic got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Charles McGillivantic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Ross McSymon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Ross McSymon managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Salsburgh F.c's Charles McGillivantic fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ross McSymon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Comine in the 35th minute of the match. Charles McGillivantic recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brandon McVeagh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Salsburgh F.c getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Lewis Wass hit a great ball. If Derek Corbet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Brandon McVeagh made the kick off in the second half. Henry Comine fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ross McSymon having to interfere. In the 58th minute Charles McGillivantic shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ross McSymon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Henry Comine sped through Crazy Monks F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ross McSymon. In the 62nd minute, Henry Comine got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Evan Cavanagh fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Salsburgh F.c's protests and gave Evan Cavanagh a yellow card for diving instead. Samuel McHugh made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Derek Corbet sent off a good shot on target. 73 minutes into the match, Crazy Monks F.C.'s Brandon McVeagh sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samuel McHugh narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Charles McGillivantic sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute, Salsburgh F.c's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Derek Corbet fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Brandon McVeagh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brandon McVeagh was extremely unlucky when he, in the 86th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Marc McCaskill hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Salsburgh F.c's zone, Brandon McVeagh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samuel McHugh came out of the goal and Brandon McVeagh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Salsburgh F.c's Samuel McHugh proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Salsburgh F.c from getting a goal against them. If Henry Comine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Salsburgh F.c fans cheered their team off the field, for while Crazy Monks F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
