The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tom McCamie during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gordon United's Tom McCamie got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 20th match minute, Gordon United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Terence Ferguson to maneuver through the defense. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stewart Harvey made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Finlay Milroy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 53rd minute, Martin Innie made a precise shot to the right of Duncan Findlater. Gordon United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Stewart Harvey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duncan Findlater having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Westhill's goal looked a bit too open when Finlay Milroy came free, but Nigel Foster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
