Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Stewart Harvey got the match started through his kick off. The audience was convinced that Guy McBaxter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nigel Foster was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. When Vincent McHardie came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Glasgow Clan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vincent McHardie couldn't finish the play. Nigel Foster showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guy McBaxter, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. The supporters of Glasgow Clan booed when Westhill was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ter Ewart didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nigel Foster made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guy McBaxter in the 15th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Rick Coulter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glasgow Clan's supporters rose to their feet, but Rick Coulter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nigel Foster breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 21st minute Rick Coulter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nigel Foster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute Jack Petrie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Callum Wilkinson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nigel Foster made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guy McBaxter in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute Rick Coulter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nigel Foster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Glasgow Clan's Callum Wilkinson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Glasgow Clan from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Westhill's Ter Ewart got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Rick Coulter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Nigel Foster made a huge save. 52 minutes into the match, Westhill's goal looked a bit too open when Rick Coulter came free, but Nigel Foster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute Rick Coulter suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 58 minutes, Ter Ewart mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Westhill and the Glasgow Clan players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 60 played minutes Westhill got a freekick which was hit by Ter Ewart. Nigel Foster made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guy McBaxter in the 63rd minute. A collision led to Westhill getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Phil Lachie hit a great ball. Callum Wilkinson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Innie, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After 70 played minutes Glasgow Clan got a freekick which was hit by Eric Forester. Stewart Harvey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Callum Wilkinson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Callum Wilkinson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jack Petrie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jack Petrie in the 80th minute of play forced Glasgow Clan's goalkeeper Callum Wilkinson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 81 minutes, Eric Forester mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Glasgow Clan and the Westhill players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eric Forester kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Guy McBaxter kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nigel Foster. That made the score 0-1 in the 86 minute of play. In the 90th minute Robbie McLachlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nigel Foster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Westhill's goalkeeper Nigel Foster had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Guy McBaxter. Callum Wilkinson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jack Petrie in the 91st minute of the match. In the 92nd match minute, Glasgow Clan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Forester to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Glasgow Clan could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Westhill throughout the match.
