In the 4th minute, Tyler Stark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Auchterarder Raiders getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Martin McPhun hit a great ball. Ben McCrae showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willie McVurich in the 10th minute of the match. After 14 minutes of play, Ryde's Willie McVurich made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ben McCrae was left in no man's land by his defense there! Matt McCartney charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Matt McCartney the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Matt McCartney hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joe Bontine in the 18th minute of play forced Auchterarder Raiders's goalkeeper Ben McCrae to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Richard Grant kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After 25 minutes, Harry McCaishe made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Ryde's Quentin Coulthart tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 31 minutes, Harry McCaishe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Auchterarder Raiders's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harry McCaishe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Auchterarder Raiders getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Matt McCartney hit a great ball. Ben McCrae showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George McGugan, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Eddie McLaverty kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Harry McCaishe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Harry McCaishe to make the kick off. If Harry McCaishe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Auchterarder Raiders's Ben McCrae got control of the ball when Joe Bontine tried to sneak it across the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Auchterarder Raiders's goalkeeper Ben McCrae had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tyler Stark. Quentin Coulthart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harry McCaishe, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. If Joe Bontine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Harry McCaishe succeeded in the game's 75th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. When Martin McPhun came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Auchterarder Raiders fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martin McPhun couldn't finish the play. Richard Grant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ben McCrae didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ryde's Joe Bontine shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Harry McCaishe scored 3-2 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Quentin Coulthart, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ryde players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Auchterarder Raiders.
