Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Graham McGuffie took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ray McPhedron was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Iain Broom capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Iain Broom really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Iain Broom managed to get in a good position for a shot. Keith United's supporters rose to their feet, but Iain Broom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ray McPhedron breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iain Broom in the 16th minute of play forced Dunbeath FC's goalkeeper Ray McPhedron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ray McPhedron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iain Broom in the 21st minute of play. Ricky McGillivour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Ray McPhedron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iain Broom in the 30th minute of play forced Dunbeath FC's goalkeeper Ray McPhedron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricky McGillivour sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iain Broom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Ray McPhedron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute there was a penalty for Keith United. Willie Frissell stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ray McPhedron. 2-0. In the 39th minute, Keith United's Rod Davison seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rod Davison the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Keith United protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rod Davison had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Ricky McGillivour's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ray McPhedron firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ricky McGillivour fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ray McPhedron having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ricky McGillivour to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute there was a penalty for Keith United. Willie Frissell stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ray McPhedron. 3-1. Nicholas McLerie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Ray McPhedron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Declan Ayres charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Declan Ayres the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Declan Ayres kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Douglas Broom made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Owen Lemond sent off a good shot on target. Nicholas McLerie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Ricky McGillivour managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 68th minute Nicholas McLerie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ray McPhedron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Dunbeath FC's zone, Ricky McGillivour stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ray McPhedron came out of the goal and Ricky McGillivour tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Ricky McGillivour's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ray McPhedron was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. 74 minutes into the match, Nicholas McLerie notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Dunbeath FC's Ray McPhedron. Ray McPhedron was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ricky McGillivour sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the match, Dunbeath FC's goal looked a bit too open when Declan Ayres came free, but Ray McPhedron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ricky McGillivour fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ray McPhedron having to interfere. Ricky McGillivour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Ray McPhedron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84thth minute of the game Bradley Simson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dunbeath FC's Ray McPhedron was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Keith United's goal looked a bit too open when Graham McGuffie came free, but Douglas Broom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ray McPhedron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricky McGillivour in the 91st minute of the match. When Ricky McGillivour came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Keith United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricky McGillivour couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricky McGillivour in the 96th minute of play forced Dunbeath FC's goalkeeper Ray McPhedron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 98 minutes into the match, Dunbeath FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ricky McGillivour came free, but Ray McPhedron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Keith United walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
