Spectators: 6944 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1944, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Harry McCaishe started the match with the kick off. Harry McCaishe struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Munro Paterson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Auchterarder Raiders. If Graeme McGaw had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Harry McCaishe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Auchterarder Raiders's supporters rose to their feet, but Harry McCaishe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Munro Paterson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Auchterarder Raiders's Graeme McGaw got a free kick in the 14th minute. The supporters of Appin City booed when Auchterarder Raiders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eddie McLaverty didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harry McCaishe in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Munro Paterson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Auchterarder Raiders's Harry McCaishe in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Appin City's goalie prevented a goal. After 24 minutes, Arthur Keene mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Appin City and the Auchterarder Raiders players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 24th match minute, Appin City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arthur Keene to maneuver through the defense. Harry McCaishe might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Munro Paterson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Harry McCaishe ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 28th minute Harry McCaishe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Munro Paterson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Appin City's goal looked a bit too open when Harry McCaishe came free, but Munro Paterson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Munro Paterson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Harry McCaishe's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. 40 minutes into the match, Martin McPhun notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Appin City's Munro Paterson. Munro Paterson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Graeme McGaw sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Appin City players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Auchterarder Raiders were winning 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marc McLintock was the one to do the kick off. Graeme McGaw sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Harry McCaishe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Munro Paterson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Munro Paterson stood somewhat misplaced when Harry McCaishe came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 60 minute. When Andy Cullen came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Auchterarder Raiders fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andy Cullen couldn't finish the play. 67 minutes into the game, Harry McCaishe lined in a short shot 0-6 behind a frustrated Munro Paterson. In the 74th minute, Adrian Barnfather hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Duncan McChlery kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. A hard shot by Martin McPhun from long distance, 77 minutes into the match, got Munro Paterson's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When %teams%'s Harry McCaishe was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 0-7 just inside the left pole, 78 minutes into the game. Munro Paterson was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Graeme McGaw sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Harry McCaishe's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Munro Paterson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of Auchterarder Raiders booed when Appin City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gavin Paterson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute, Eddie McLaverty got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute, Marc McLintock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Graeme McGaw sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Harry McCaishe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Auchterarder Raiders's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
