With a couple of smart ball manuevers Danny Gilespie in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roddie McGeachie saved Strathpeffer City from getting behind. Rangers FC played a much better game than Strathpeffer City and deserved their victory. The Strathpeffer City players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
