Harry McCaishe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Cox having to interfere. Ivan Cox took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jason Sinclair, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th match minute, Auchterarder Raiders was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin McPhun to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute, Martin McPhun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Graeme McGaw had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot by Robbie McCanish from long distance, 75 minutes into the match, got Ivan Cox's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 78 minutes into the game, Harry McCaishe recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ivan Cox. Harry McCaishe showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. If Harry McCaishe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Graeme McGaw came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Auchterarder Raiders fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Graeme McGaw couldn't finish the play. Harry McCaishe who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Ivan Cox when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Auchterarder Raiders's Harry McCaishe got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Martin McPhun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Auchterarder Raiders's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin McPhun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Cox breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Auchterarder Raiders's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
