Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Scott McNeiledge took the kick off in the first half of the match. Mallaig's David Stenhouse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Mallaig from getting a goal against them. Cameron McKaskill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Munro McCombie in the 5th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willie Griesck in the 12th minute of play forced Mallaig's goalkeeper David Stenhouse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mallaig's David Stenhouse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric McKee in the 14th minute of play. Cameron McKaskill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Scott McNeiledge in the 17th minute of play. Cameron McKaskill took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Scott McNeiledge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Mallaig's Scott McNeiledge in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Duns's goalie prevented a goal. 25 minutes into the match, Mallaig's Munro McCombie sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cameron McKaskill narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 26th play minute Tony McGeachin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised David Stenhouse. 1-0. 29 minutes into the match, Mallaig's goal looked a bit too open when Dean Saunders came free, but David Stenhouse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. David Stenhouse made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tony McGeachin in the 31st minute. Duns's Cameron McKaskill played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Scott McNeiledge in the 32nd minute of play. David Stenhouse was a little too slow when Tony McGeachin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 2-0. Tony McGeachin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Stenhouse having to interfere. Dean Saunders came free with the goalkeeper in the 42nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and David Stenhouse could save by the left post. When Mallaig's Munro McCombie in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Duns's goalie prevented a goal. 45 minutes into the match, Mallaig's goalkeeper David Stenhouse had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dean Saunders.

In the 55th minute Dean Saunders shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Stenhouse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Stenhouse didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Willie Griesck went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. David Stenhouse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony McGeachin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute Tony McGeachin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Stenhouse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, Tony McGeachin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. David Stenhouse was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 73 minutes into the match, Willie Griesck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Stenhouse. Mallaig's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Willie Griesck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. In the 75th minute, Willie Griesck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Stenhouse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willie Griesck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Scott McNeiledge could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Cameron McKaskill made a huge save. David Stenhouse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony McGeachin, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tony McGeachin in the 90th minute of play forced Mallaig's goalkeeper David Stenhouse to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Mallaig's goal looked a bit too open when Dean Saunders came free, but David Stenhouse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Mallaig's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Erskine came free, but David Stenhouse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mallaig players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Duns.
