Jason Cooke made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jeremy Ferries in the 17th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Aiden McMorran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cupar AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BARABA the free kick. Aiden McMorran hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 20 minutes into the match, Cupar AFC's goalkeeper Jason Cooke had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeremy Ferries. Jason Cooke stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oliver McOmish's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. After 23rd play minutes Oliver McOmish shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Jason Cooke and just under the crossbar into goal. BARABA's Oliver McOmish got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeremy Ferriess short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Jason Cooke to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 31stth minute of the game Oliver McOmish who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cupar AFC's Jason Cooke was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Steve Cessford was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cupar AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BARABA the free kick. In the 37th match minute, Cupar AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steve Cessford to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 38 in the game by Jeremy Ferries from a close distance when the talented Jason Cooke managed to make a qualified save. Cupar AFC's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver McOmish in the 42nd minute of play forced Cupar AFC's goalkeeper Jason Cooke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mark Lawson during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Cupar AFC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Mark Lawson hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jeremy Ferries to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes BARABA got a freekick which was hit by Tony McCraken. In the 52nd minute of the match Jack Davies sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ruben Nalo skillfully saved the ball. Cupar AFC's Jason Cooke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremy Ferries in the 54th minute of play. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Oliver McOmish sped through Cupar AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jason Cooke. 58 minutes into the match, BARABA's Oliver McOmish sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jason Cooke narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 60 minutes, Oliver McOmish made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Cupar AFC's Jason Cooke tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roy Carr in the 63rd minute of play forced Cupar AFC's goalkeeper Jason Cooke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute Jeremy Ferries shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jason Cooke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When BARABA's Jeremy Ferries in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cupar AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Cupar AFC's Jason Cooke tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The BARABA fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when BARABA's Jeremy Ferries looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jeremy Ferries received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Jason Cooke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
