Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jeremy Ferries made the kick off which started today's match. Cameron McKaskill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremy Ferries in the 6th minute of the match. Ruben Nalo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willie Griesck in the 10th minute of play. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by BARABA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jack Dougan was slow to take the kick. During this time Duns's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Duns's corner Jack Dougan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ruben Nalo quite easily take care of the ball. Dean Saunders charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dean Saunders the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th minute Chris McGrowther shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cameron McKaskill saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 21 minutes, Jeremy Ferries made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Duns's Cameron McKaskill tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Duns getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Willie Griesck hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeremy Ferries in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cameron McKaskill saved Duns from getting behind. When the match clock showed 28 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Oliver McOmish sped through Duns's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cameron McKaskill. Jeremy Ferries recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Chris McGrowther notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Duns's Cameron McKaskill. Cameron McKaskill was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cameron McKaskill stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oliver McOmish's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Willie Griesck made a kick off. Oliver McOmish might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cameron McKaskill. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oliver McOmish ran back to his position shaking his head. Jeremy Ferries fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cameron McKaskill having to interfere. After a rather tough play, BARABA's Chris McGrowther got a free kick in the 61st minute. After a rather tough play, Duns's Eric McKee got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Jeremy Ferries fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cameron McKaskill having to interfere. BARABA's Mike Pollard was substituted for Malcolm Brown. Eric McKee's late challenge caught a BARABA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eric McKee helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Duns getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Eric McKee hit a great ball. Jeremy Ferries hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Oliver McOmish sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cameron McKaskill came out of the goal and Jeremy Ferries tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Oliver McOmish's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Cameron McKaskill skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The supporters of BARABA booed when Duns was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric McKee didn't get a good kick on the ball. Willie Griesck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeremy Ferries could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Cameron McKaskill made a huge save. When Dean Saunders was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 86 minutes had been played. In the 87th match minute, Duns was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dean Saunders to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tony McGeachin during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 89 played minutes Duns got a freekick which was hit by Tony McGeachin. Jeremy Ferries recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cameron McKaskill took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver McOmish, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of BARABA booed when Duns was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willie Griesck didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Duns fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. BARABA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
