With a little luck, Crianlarich's Jacob McCodrum got control of the ball when Troy McConnechy tried to sneak it across the goal line. Crianlarich's Sam Limont got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jacob McCodrum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Williamson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Crianlarich's Jacob McCodrum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Williamson in the 31st minute of play. If Sam Limont had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Sam Limont managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crianlarich's supporters rose to their feet, but Sam Limont was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oliver Kean breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sam Limont struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Oliver Kean didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crianlarich. Wally McQuire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oliver Kean having to interfere. Crianlarich's Jacob McCodrum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Williamson in the 47th minute of play. Sam Limont sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Michael Williamson was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Williamson in the 53rd minute of play forced Crianlarich's goalkeeper Jacob McCodrum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacob McCodrum showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michael Williamson in the 54th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Cairndow City's goal looked a bit too open when Sam Limont came free, but Oliver Kean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oliver Kean was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jacob McCodrum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Williamson in the 84th minute of play. After 87 played minutes Cairndow City got a freekick which was hit by Michael Williamson. Jacob McCodrum took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Troy McGruder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oliver Kean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sam Limont, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Sam Limont received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Oliver Kean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Crianlarich were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Cairndow City to leave the ground with a draw.
