Ellon's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Samuel McElfrish scored to the left of an out of position Ronan McCune, making the score, 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as No Pants FC's Samuel McElfrish slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ronan McCune. That made the score 2-0 after 22 minutes of play. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ellon! The referee gave No Pants FC a penalty, 30 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Roddie Niven, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ellon's Ronan McCune. 3-0. Keith Appleby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stephen Dinnes charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stephen Dinnes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Stephen Dinnes kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Roddie Niven hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Samuel McElfrish stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ronan McCune showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuel McElfrish in the 53rd minute of the match. Archie Morris hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the game, No Pants FC's Samuel McElfrish nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ronan McCune made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Samuel McElfrish received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Ronan McCune tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samuel McElfrish recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Samuel McElfrish scored 5-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ronan McCune, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stephen Dinnes hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 86th match minute, Ellon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grant McBurie to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the game, Samuel McElfrish cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Ronan McCune was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nigel Bryce kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When Samuel McElfrish came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the No Pants FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuel McElfrish couldn't finish the play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. No Pants FC had played much better football throughout.
