Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jo&Jo ™'s Paddy McBain started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Terence McCraken lost his temper 3 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The score was 1-0 after a penalty in the 5th minute, where No Pants FC:s Roddie Niven tricked Jo&Jo ™:s Andrew Combie with a difficult ball by the left post. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jo&Jo ™'s goalkeeper Andrew Combie, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 12th minute of the match No Pants FC got a corner. Jo&Jo ™'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Roddie Niven ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a rather tough play, Jo&Jo ™'s Marc McBheath got a free kick in the 17th minute. After 18 minutes, Samuel McElfrish made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Jo&Jo ™'s Andrew Combie tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 21 minutes, Keith Appleby managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. No Pants FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Keith Appleby was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Andrew Combie managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when No Pants FC's Samuel McElfrish fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 29 minutes into the match, No Pants FC's goal looked a bit too open when Terry McAllan came free, but Ron McGrath reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Ronan Mathie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. No Pants FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jo&Jo ™ the free kick. In the 34th minute, Ronan Mathie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ron McGrath showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Terry McAllan, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Marc McBheath kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After 39 minutes of play, No Pants FC's Samuel McElfrish made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Andrew Combie was left in no man's land by his defense there! Samuel McElfrish took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andrew Combie. Andrew Combie dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Samuel McElfrish stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Jimmy Storie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andrew Combie was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. 55 minutes into the match, Jo&Jo ™'s goal looked a bit too open when Samuel McElfrish came free, but Andrew Combie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 55 minutes into the game, Jimmy Storie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. No Pants FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jo&Jo ™ the free kick. In the 55th minute, Jimmy Storie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andrew Combie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmy Storie, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 60th minute, Samuel McElfrish got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jo&Jo ™'s Paul Findlater was substituted for Marc McBheath. Ronan Mathie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Andrew Combie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No Pants FC's Ron McGrath played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Terry McAllan in the 70th minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Samuel McElfrish made a precise shot to the right of Andrew Combie. Jo&Jo ™'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Andrew Combie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Samuel McElfrish's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Ron McGrath was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Troy Abbie. After a rather tough play, No Pants FC's Jimmy Storie got a free kick in the 90th minute. Jo&Jo ™'s Les Gillies shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 91st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ron McGrath but with some difficulty. A collision led to No Pants FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Ronan Mathie hit a great ball. A hard shot by Troy Abbie from long distance, 93 minutes into the match, got Ron McGrath's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. There was no doubt that No Pants FC were the better team. No Pants FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
