The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Max McAndeoir scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of James Elliott, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Gazanfer Özcan Şehzat kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving James Elliott. That made the score 2-0 in the 9 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Gazanfer Özcan Şehzat took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for James Elliott to make any attempt to save it. James Elliott took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gazanfer Özcan Şehzat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Golspie's James Elliott got control of the ball when Max McAndeoir tried to sneak it across the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Golspie's goalkeeper James Elliott had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciro Baldassarre. The crowd rose to their feet as Gazanfer Özcan Şehzat kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving James Elliott. That made the score 4-0 in the 20 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Gazanfer Özcan Şehzat took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for James Elliott to make any attempt to save it. In the 27th match minute, Golspie was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Graeme Elliott to maneuver through the defense. Josh Hawes kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Graeme Clerk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Max McAndeoir came free with the goalkeeper in the 35th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and James Elliott could save by the left post. 35 minutes into the match, Gazanfer Özcan Şehzat notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Golspie's James Elliott. James Elliott was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. James Elliott took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciaran McVinish, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the game, McNahas Clan FC's Gazanfer Özcan Şehzat nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. James Elliott made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. Golspie's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Max McAndeoir scored to the left of an out of position James Elliott, making the score, 9-0. Max McAndeoir took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised James Elliott. James Elliott dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 51st minute Gazanfer Özcan Şehzat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but James Elliott saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Max McAndeoir in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg James Elliott saved Golspie from getting behind. James Elliott came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by McNahas Clan FC's Ciro Baldassarre. But to his dismay, Ciro Baldassarre quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. 61 minutes into the match, Graeme Clerk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of James Elliott. Golspie's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Graeme Clerk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. McNahas Clan FC made a substitution. Walter McPheidiran replaced Graeme Clerk. James Elliott showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Baldassarre in the 65th minute of the match. Golspie's James Elliott played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walter McPheidiran in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Gavin Monzie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. McNahas Clan FC made a substitution. Quentin Findlayson replaced Jeremy Bontine. James Elliott showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gazanfer Özcan Şehzat, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute, Gazanfer Özcan Şehzat left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The McNahas Clan FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 13-0. If Max McAndeoir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Max McAndeoir took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised James Elliott. James Elliott dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 15-0. After 90 minutes, Ken Bowmaker mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Golspie and the McNahas Clan FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. McNahas Clan FC were furious when Ciaran McVinish was red carded, 93 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 92nd minute, one of McNahas Clan FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for McNahas Clan FC. A collision led to McNahas Clan FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Quentin Findlayson hit a great ball. When Gazanfer Özcan Şehzat came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the McNahas Clan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gazanfer Özcan Şehzat couldn't finish the play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. McNahas Clan FC had played much better football throughout.
