Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) No Pants FC's Samuel McElfrish started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th minute, Jimmy Storie ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fraser Duthie was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, Burnium FC's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel McElfrish came free, but Fraser Duthie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 11 played minutes Burnium FC got a freekick which was hit by Munro Watt. When No Pants FC's Samuel McElfrish in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Burnium FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 16th minute Jimmy Storie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fraser Duthie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Samuel McElfrish in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fraser Duthie prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Samuel McElfrish recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 27 played minutes Burnium FC got a freekick which was hit by Ricky McCaig. Munro Watt got his second yellow card in the match during the 31st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Fraser Duthie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicholas Fish, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Fraser Duthie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Samuel McElfrish's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Ron McGrath made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Timothy McCorkill sent off a good shot on target. When Ricky McCaig came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Burnium FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricky McCaig couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Timothy McCorkill stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Samuel McElfrishs short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Fraser Duthie to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Burnium FC's Fraser Duthie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel McElfrish in the 57th minute of play. If Nicholas Fish had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fraser Duthie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Samuel McElfrish's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. In the 61st minute Samuel McElfrish shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fraser Duthie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 63 in the game by Samuel McElfrish from a close distance when the talented Fraser Duthie managed to make a qualified save. Burnium FC's players were relieved. 64 minutes into the game, Samuel McElfrish lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Fraser Duthie. In the 67th match minute, Burnium FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timothy McCorkill to maneuver through the defense. Ivan Hughes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No Pants FC's Samuel McElfrish was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 72nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After a rather tough play, No Pants FC's Stephen Dinnes got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 84th minute, Terence Suttie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Fraser Duthie managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when No Pants FC's Samuel McElfrish fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Roddie Niven charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roddie Niven the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Burnium FC booed when No Pants FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roddie Niven didn't get a good kick on the ball. No Pants FC's Jimmy Storie got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Samuel McElfrish got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No Pants FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
