In the 56th match minute, ARBROATH FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliver Borthwick to maneuver through the defense. Colin Leitch hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Lloyd Dowe hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. If Grant Gordon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Keith Abbott stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Harry McFie's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Davie McCaig scored 3-1 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Keith Abbott, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davie McCaig in the 75th minute of play forced Biggar of the North's goalkeeper Keith Abbott to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
