Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luke McKellar started the match with the kick off. Wágner Guedes struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Stevie Low didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Scotland. When Duda Saldanha came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Scotland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duda Saldanha couldn't finish the play. Wágner Guedes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sam McTaggart hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Duda Saldanha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Stevie Low tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wágner Guedes in the 12th minute of play forced AC Holmavik's goalkeeper Stevie Low to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Scotland's Wágner Guedes got a free kick in the 19th minute. After having played for 25 minutes, Wágner Guedes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scotland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wágner Guedes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kenny McCorkill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wágner Guedes might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stevie Low. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wágner Guedes ran back to his position shaking his head. Stevie Low took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duda Saldanha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute Wágner Guedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stevie Low saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, AC Holmavik's Sam McTaggart got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Stevie Low showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wágner Guedes in the 43rd minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Stevie Low successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 46 minutes, Sam McTaggart made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Scotland's Grant McIlvora tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half AC Holmavik were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Wágner Guedes made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, AC Holmavik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc Davidson to maneuver through the defense. Stevie Low showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wágner Guedes in the 53rd minute of the match. Stevie Low took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duda Saldanha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vincent Walker kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 65th match minute, AC Holmavik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norman Murphy to maneuver through the defense. If Wágner Guedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Wágner Guedes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Scotland fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Wágner Guedes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Stevie Low tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the game, Duda Saldanha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Stevie Low was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Scotland's Craig Neil was substituted for Duda Saldanha. In the 84th minute, Wágner Guedes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Wágner Guedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wally McKieson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute Wágner Guedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stevie Low saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Scotland's Ricky Lean got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wágner Guedes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stevie Low having to interfere. After 97 played minutes Scotland got a freekick which was hit by Ricky Lean. The long shot by Norman Murphy in the 98th minute really tested Grant McIlvora's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.
