An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry McFie in the 9th minute of play forced Maccaulich FC's goalkeeper Sylvain Holemans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Maccaulich FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Harry McFie fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 14th minute, Harry McFie left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ARBROATH FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Harry McFie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sylvain Holemans having to interfere. Sylvain Holemans didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when ARBROATH FC's Harry McFie shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. The supporters of Maccaulich FC booed when ARBROATH FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harry McFie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ian McCabe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Derek Grewar in the 29th minute of play. Ian McCabe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norman McWalrick in the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norman McWalrick in the 36th minute of play forced ARBROATH FC's goalkeeper Ian McCabe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Norman McWalrick managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maccaulich FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Norman McWalrick was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Harry McFie stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sylvain Holemans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harry McFie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute, Derek McMillan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Derek Grewar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Norman McWalrick showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. After a defensive mix-up in ARBROATH FC's zone, Derek Grewar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ian McCabe came out of the goal and Derek Grewar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tam Wilson hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Maccaulich FC played a much better game than ARBROATH FC and deserved their victory. The ARBROATH FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
