Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Terence McAuselan started the match with the kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Rupert Campbell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Muir United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rupert Campbell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Terence McAuselan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nicky McEwan. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Joe Dempster showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rupert Campbell, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. If Larry Forsyth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Larry Forsyth could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Nicky McEwan made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Rupert Campbell's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joe Dempster was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. In the 22nd minute Rupert Campbell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joe Dempster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jay McKellar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Muir United's Nicky McEwan got control of the ball when Larry Forsyth tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Rupert Campbell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Muir United's supporters rose to their feet, but Rupert Campbell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joe Dempster breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Muir United's Nicky McEwan got control of the ball when Larry Forsyth tried to sneak it across the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Muir United's goalkeeper Nicky McEwan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Larry Forsyth. Jonathan Combie kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Nicky McEwan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Terence McAuselan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rd minute, Rupert Campbell made a precise shot to the right of Joe Dempster. Jaguar FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Terence McAuselan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicky McEwan having to interfere.

After 53 played minutes Jaguar FC got a freekick which was hit by Danny Fox. In the 54th match minute, Jaguar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel McKellaig to maneuver through the defense. Muir United's Nicky McEwan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Terence McAuselan in the 57th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Jaguar FC's Samuel McKellaig got a free kick in the 59th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel McKellaig in the 68th minute of play forced Muir United's goalkeeper Nicky McEwan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th minute, Rupert Campbell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 72 minutes into the game, Tommy McKaskill was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Muir United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jaguar FC the free kick. After 72 played minutes Muir United got a freekick which was hit by Tommy McKaskill. In the 74th minute, Tommy McKaskill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Rupert Campbell got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Samuel McKellaig hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Muir United's Rupert Campbell got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raymond Abbott charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raymond Abbott the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd match minute, Jaguar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raymond Abbott to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by Jaguar FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rupert Campbell was slow to take the kick. During this time Muir United's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Muir United's Ewan Galt getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The Muir United players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
