Spectators: 9248 (Terracing: 6937, Seating: 2127, VIP seats: 184) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rupert Campbell kicked off to start the match. Fraserburgh Wet Squirrels's Josh Abbot got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 4 minutes into the match, Muir United's goal looked a bit too open when Josh Abbot came free, but Nicky McEwan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute, Josh Abbot ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicky McEwan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Jeremy McLaverty recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Muir United's Nicky McEwan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josh Abbot in the 22nd minute of play. In the 31st minute, Jay McKellar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of George Gordon. The goal made the score 1-1. Nicky McEwan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremy McLaverty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Ronald Pearson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Fraserburgh Wet Squirrels getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Terry Conochie hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Josh Abbot during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fraserburgh Wet Squirrels's Josh Abbot got a free kick in the 45th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Josh Abbot made a kick off. Fraserburgh Wet Squirrels's Jeremy McLaverty got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Fraserburgh Wet Squirrels's Fraser Ross got a free kick in the 54th minute. Nicky McEwan made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Jason Coultard sent off a good shot on target. Jay McKellar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but George Gordon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Nicky McEwan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josh Abbot in the 71st minute of the match. The supporters of Fraserburgh Wet Squirrels booed when Muir United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jay McKellar didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tommy McKaskill during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Fraserburgh Wet Squirrels booed when Muir United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommy McKaskill didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicky McEwan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josh Abbot in the 78th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Muir United's goalkeeper Nicky McEwan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kevin Dunbar. A hard shot by Terry Conochie from long distance, 82 minutes into the match, got Nicky McEwan's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Josh Abbot in the 83rd minute of play forced Muir United's goalkeeper Nicky McEwan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Jeremy McLaverty notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Muir United's Nicky McEwan. Nicky McEwan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nicky McEwan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Josh Abbot showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 91 minute of play. In the 96th minute, Jay McKellar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Muir United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Fraserburgh Wet Squirrels were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
