The audience was convinced that Edmond Niven's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Shaun Porter was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Lochgelly's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emilio Petricca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Shaun Porter didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when grangemouth's Emilio Petricca shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute. The grangemouth fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when grangemouth's Emilio Petricca looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lochgelly's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Emilio Petricca 72 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-6. Tomás da Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shaun Porter having to interfere. Emilio Petricca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Shaun Porter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pitt Frøne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Johnstone in the 93rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Declan Chisholm in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pitt Frøne prevented the ball from getting in the gole. grangemouth played a much better game than Lochgelly and deserved their victory. The Lochgelly players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
