Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Terence McAuselan kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Phil Dobbie had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joe Dempster. Jaguar FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Phil Dobbie was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Phil Dobbie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joe Dempster having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Terence McAuselan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jaguar FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Terence McAuselan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aaron McIan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 15 played minutes Alva got a freekick which was hit by Wal McLairish. Larry Forsyth's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aaron McIan firmly grabbed it by the left post. Alva's Aaron McIan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Terence McAuselan in the 20th minute of play. Wal McLairish hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Samuel McKellaig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute Terence McAuselan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron McIan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aaron McIan made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Larry Forsyth sent off a good shot on target. After 35 minutes, Wal McLairish mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alva and the Jaguar FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38th play minute Larry Forsyth came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Aaron McIan. 1-1. Joe Dempster showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kenny Haws, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Aaron McIan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Samuel McKellaig in the 46th minute. Aaron McIan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terence McAuselan in the 47th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Phil Dobbie to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Alva booed when Jaguar FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward Yuille didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 61 played minutes Alva got a freekick which was hit by Harold Edgar. Terence McAuselan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute, Larry Forsyth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aaron McIan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Larry Forsyth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aaron McIan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Larry Forsyth, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. When Harold Edgar fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alva's protests and gave Harold Edgar a yellow card for diving instead. Harold Edgar kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 74th minute of the match Barry McDonald sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aaron McIan skillfully saved the ball. In the 76th match minute, Jaguar FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel McKellaig to maneuver through the defense. Kenny Haws sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aaron McIan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Terence McAuselan, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
