After having played for 47 minutes, Budi Sinuhaji managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lisbon Lions 67's supporters crossed their fingers, but Budi Sinuhaji was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Graeme McRobie to make the kick off. Emmanuel Blenhart was a little too slow when Graeme Gordon got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 2-2. Smiddy Celts's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
