Port Edinburgh AFC's Alan McKerlich got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Port Edinburgh AFC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Darius Carlyle hit a great ball. Arthur Barns took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denis Morar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arthur Barns came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Port Edinburgh AFC's Denis Morar. But to his dismay, Denis Morar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 19 minutes into the match, Glasgow Rangers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eddie Baptist came free, but Arthur Barns reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Eddie Baptist had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arthur Barns. After 24 minutes of play, Port Edinburgh AFC's Alan McKerlich made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arthur Barns was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tyler McThomas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Arthur Barns tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Glasgow Rangers FC's Arthur Barns played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Morar in the 31st minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Denis Morar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Arthur Barns was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 34th minute, Guy McIan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute Tyler McThomas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur Barns saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Port Edinburgh AFC's Joe Mathie got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tyler McThomas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Tyler McThomas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arthur Barns. That made the score 0-6 in the 51 minute of play. Denis Morar succeeded in the game's 54th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-7. Denis Morar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur Barns having to interfere. In the 60th minute, Ross McKinnon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Glasgow Rangers FC's attentive Nicholas Aspin managed to snatch the ball when Harry Shaw made a throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game. After 70 played minutes Port Edinburgh AFC got a freekick which was hit by Eddie Baptist. With an all-out effort, Port Edinburgh AFC's Arthur Barns threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Denis Morar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 75 minutes of play, Port Edinburgh AFC's Denis Morar made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arthur Barns was left in no man's land by his defense there! 78 minutes into the match, Glasgow Rangers FC's goalkeeper Arthur Barns had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tyler McThomas. Eddie Baptist succeeded in the game's 92nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-9. When the match was over Port Edinburgh AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Glasgow Rangers FC throughout the match.
