Emmanuel Blenhart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jamie Federith in the 23rd minute of play. 26 minutes into the game, Alloa Golden Blades's Graeme Sharp nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emmanuel Blenhart made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 28th minute, Johnny McGorrie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jamie Federith in the 29th minute of play forced Lisbon Lions 67's goalkeeper Emmanuel Blenhart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a little luck, Lisbon Lions 67's Emmanuel Blenhart got control of the ball when Graeme Sharp tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 53 minutes of play, Alloa Golden Blades's Graeme Sharp made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emmanuel Blenhart was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Jamie Federith took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Emmanuel Blenhart to make any attempt to save it. Emmanuel Blenhart came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Alloa Golden Blades's Graeme Sharp. But to his dismay, Graeme Sharp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mustafa Kemal Çağili in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leopoldo Rameriz saved Alloa Golden Blades from getting behind. Emmanuel Blenhart came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Alloa Golden Blades's Graeme Sharp. But to his dismay, Graeme Sharp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Alloa Golden Blades's Troy Baker was substituted for Tony McConnell. Jaroslaw Rasialdo kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Colin Hendry kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Colin Hendry was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 77 minutes into the match. The supporters of Lisbon Lions 67 booed when Alloa Golden Blades was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eurico Eger didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Mustafa Kemal Çağili's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leopoldo Rameriz was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Emmanuel Blenhart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jamie Federith, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 87th match minute, Lisbon Lions 67 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johnny McGorrie to maneuver through the defense. Walter Hunter kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Emmanuel Blenhart showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jamie Federith in the 93rd minute of the match. Jaroslaw Rasialdo kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Troy Baker notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Lisbon Lions 67's Emmanuel Blenhart. Emmanuel Blenhart was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the final whistle sounded Alloa Golden Blades left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lisbon Lions 67.
