Phillip McKeochan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Emmanuel Blenhart made a huge save. 11 minutes into the match, Lisbon Lions 67's goalkeeper Emmanuel Blenhart had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Phillip McKeochan. The audience thought a goal was coming when Phillip McKeochan got free with Emmanuel Blenhart in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Johnny McGorrie kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Graeme Gordon recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Emmanuel Blenhart. Graeme Gordon showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Emmanuel Blenhart made an important save on a dangerous shot by Phillip McKeochan in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute Graeme Gordon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emmanuel Blenhart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 played minutes Lisbon Lions 67 got a freekick which was hit by Jaroslaw Rasialdo. Emmanuel Blenhart made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Phillip McKeochan sent off a good shot on target. 27 minutes into the match, Lisbon Lions 67's goal looked a bit too open when Graeme Gordon came free, but Emmanuel Blenhart reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Graeme McRobie in the 40th minute of play forced Lisbon Lions 67's goalkeeper Emmanuel Blenhart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Graeme McRobie stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With his leg Jesse McJames managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Lisbon Lions 67's Mustafa Kemal Çağili fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 64 minutes into the match, Lisbon Lions 67's goal looked a bit too open when Phillip McKeochan came free, but Emmanuel Blenhart reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emmanuel Blenhart didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Phillip McKeochan went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. In the 74th minute, Lisbon Lions 67's Colin Hendry seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Colin Hendry the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Lisbon Lions 67 protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Colin Hendry had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Will Neil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 78 played minutes Lisbon Lions 67 got a freekick which was hit by Cristi Chivu. Lisbon Lions 67's Emmanuel Blenhart played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Phillip McKeochan in the 79th minute of play. Mustafa Kemal Çağili sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
