Alexsandro Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigfrido Auletta in the 40th minute of the match. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrea Tofani, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 43rd minute of play forced Infami di Canaus's goalkeeper Alexsandro Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 minutes of play, Infami di Canaus's Andrea Tofani made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flavio Vittori was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Infami di Canaus getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Lefter Derem hit a great ball. Adriano Curto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexsandro Godoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. In the 98th match minute, Infami di Canaus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iker Eguzki to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Infami di Canaus fans cheered their team off the field, for while Italy had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
