Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo-Hernán Cabezudo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Moreira in the 15th minute of play forced Infami di Canaus's goalkeeper Alexsandro Godoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Gustavo-Hernán Cabezudo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After 32 played minutes Infami di Canaus got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo-Hernán Cabezudo. Alexsandro Godoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 40th minute of the match. Portugal were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Infami di Canaus's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Felipe Barreto took the corner. Fabricio Andrade was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Gustavo-Hernán Cabezudo made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Infami di Canaus's goalkeeper Alexsandro Godoi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipe Barreto. Gustavo-Hernán Cabezudo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilson Amorim having to make a save. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo-Hernán Cabezudo in the 64th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Alexsandro Godoi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 67 minutes into the match, Infami di Canaus's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Moura came free, but Alexsandro Godoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustavo-Hernán Cabezudo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo-Hernán Cabezudo in the 74th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Gustavo-Hernán Cabezudo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilson Amorim was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. After 77 minutes, Gustavo-Hernán Cabezudo made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Portugal's Wilson Amorim tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Alexsandro Godoi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Felipinho Amorim showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-2 in the 83 minute of play. With a little luck, Infami di Canaus's Alexsandro Godoi got control of the ball when Felipinho Amorim tried to sneak it across the goal line. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Infami di Canaus's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. After taking down the ball on Portugal's corner Graciano Coutinho fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alexsandro Godoi quite easily take care of the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 92nd minute of the game. One of Portugal:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Infami di Canaus:s goal. 95 minutes into the game, Al Berto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Wilson Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Felipinho Amorim's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexsandro Godoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Infami di Canaus fans cheered their team off the field, for while Portugal had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
