With an all-out effort, Andrashida's Vavrinec Holub threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Géza Herman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Vavrinec Holub made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Géza Herman sent off a good shot on target. Vavrinec Holub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dénes Sinkó in the 43rd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Géza Herman made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Andrashida's Ignác Fejes got control of the ball when Erik Jilek tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Kálmán Szaniszló came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Andrashida fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kálmán Szaniszló couldn't finish the play. In the 90th minute, Kvetoslav Janku hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 92 minutes into the match, Dénes Sinkó had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vavrinec Holub. Czech Republic's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dénes Sinkó was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
