Joel Ramires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Cristiano Carneiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Biqueiras's Vasco Martins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubim Pinto in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Heitor Andrade was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Biqueiras's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Canenhos FC the free kick. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Canenhos FC's goalkeeper Joel Ramires, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Eusébio Henriques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the game, Eusébio Henriques recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joel Ramires. Eusébio Henriques showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The supporters of Biqueiras booed when Canenhos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Ramires stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eusébio Henriques's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. In the 37th minute, Cristiano Carneiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristiano Carneiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Biqueiras's Rodrigo Valente shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 45th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Joel Ramires but with some difficulty. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rubim Pinto made a kick off. Vasco Martins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubim Pinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Rubim Pinto might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vasco Martins. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rubim Pinto ran back to his position shaking his head. After 62 played minutes Rubim Pinto rounded Biqueiras's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. 70 minutes into the match, Heitor Andrade notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Canenhos FC's Joel Ramires. Joel Ramires was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Cristiano Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigo Macedo kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Heitor Andrade hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 84th match minute, Canenhos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubim Pinto to maneuver through the defense. Joel Ramires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Carneiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rubim Pinto kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubim Pinto in the 91st minute of play forced Biqueiras's goalkeeper Vasco Martins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Ramires stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eusébio Henriques's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Joel Ramires took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristiano Carneiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Biqueiras had won after a very even match.
