SC Covelinhas:s António Valente showed great skill when he stopped Mariano Cruz:s penalty. With a little luck, SC Covelinhas's António Valente got control of the ball when Cesário Pádua tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Cesário Pádua managed to get in a good position for a shot. Macores's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesário Pádua was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. António Valente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joel Pádua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cristiano Marques to strike the kick off in the second half. If Eusébio Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesário Pádua recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesário Pádua in the 69th minute of play forced SC Covelinhas's goalkeeper António Valente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Jaime Sarmento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of António Valente. SC Covelinhas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaime Sarmento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesário Pádua in the 83rd minute of play forced SC Covelinhas's goalkeeper António Valente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Macores's Joel Pádua proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Macores from getting a goal against them.
