Spectators: 6660 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Frederico Caeiro took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 played minutes Marmoiral got a freekick which was hit by Júlio Leão. Fernando Barbosa took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dércio Brites. Dércio Brites dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 13th minute, Basílio Cardoso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 17th minute Basílio Cardoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dércio Brites saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaspar Pacheco charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaspar Pacheco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Marmoiral getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Gaspar Pacheco hit a great ball. Eusébio Morais made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aparício Mansilha in the 21st minute. Eusébio Morais made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Aparício Mansilha sent off a good shot on target. Fernando Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Marmoiral's Gaspar Pacheco in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Ageito's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fernando Barbosa in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dércio Brites saved SC Ageito from getting behind. 35 minutes into the match, Marmoiral's Basílio Cardoso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dércio Brites narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dércio Brites didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernando Barbosa went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Dércio Brites made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Barbosa in the 43rd minute of play. When Joaquim Leitão fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SC Ageito's protests and gave Joaquim Leitão a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Basílio Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marmoiral's supporters rose to their feet, but Basílio Cardoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dércio Brites breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 0-3 became the score in the 47th minute when Fernando Barbosa elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fernando Barbosa was the one to do the kick off. Fernando Barbosa hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 59th minute, Fernando Barbosa fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Dércio Brites, passed just outside the right post. Frederico Caeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Morais having to interfere. Eusébio Morais didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Frederico Caeiro went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Basílio Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute, Marmoiral's Fernando Barbosa dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. If Fernando Barbosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dércio Brites made an important save on a dangerous shot by Basílio Cardoso in the 84th minute. Fernando Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th minute, SC Ageito's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Basílio Cardoso fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Dércio Brites stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fernando Barbosa's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. A collision led to SC Ageito getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Silvano Vides hit a great ball. Fernando Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Marmoiral could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than SC Ageito throughout the match.
