Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Severino Saldanha started the match with the kick off. If Óscar Regueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tarcísio Silva hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute of the match Dércio Machado shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gonçalo Rego showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Lousada in the 7th minute of play forced Corsários do Farol's goalkeeper Gonçalo Rego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Óscar Regueira got free with Higino Vigário in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 14th match minute, Diful United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvestre Conde to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute Raul Lousada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonçalo Rego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27thth minute of the game Tiago Macieira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Diful United's Higino Vigário was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Diful United's Damião Portela nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gonçalo Rego made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A collision led to Diful United getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Silvestre Conde hit a great ball. Gonçalo Rego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvestre Conde, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Óscar Regueira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Higino Vigário made a huge save. 45 minutes into the game, Tiago Macieira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Higino Vigário. Tiago Macieira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tiago Macieira made a kick off. Isidoro Valido kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Dércio Machado took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 52nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gonçalo Rego. Corsários do Farol's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Higino Vigário stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Óscar Regueira's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Higino Vigário showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Macieira in the 65th minute of the match. Silvestre Conde could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Gonçalo Rego made a huge save. Raul Lousada's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gonçalo Rego firmly grabbed it by the left post. Tiago Macieira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Higino Vigário tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Higino Vigário took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tarcísio Silva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Higino Vigário made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Macieira in the 83rd minute of play. Tiago Macieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higino Vigário having to interfere. José Maciel's late challenge caught a Diful United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Maciel helped the player get up and apologised. José Maciel hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Corsários do Farol's Tiago Macieira suffered a concussion in the 92nd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Aparício Zarco's late challenge caught a Corsários do Farol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aparício Zarco helped the player get up and apologised. Corsários do Farol made a substitution. Isac Regueira replaced Tiago Macieira. After having played for 95 minutes, Isac Regueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corsários do Farol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isac Regueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Corsários do Farol were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
