The score was now 1-0. If Tiago Macieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute, Óscar Regueira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Corsários do Farol fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Tiago Macieira took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Tiago Brito to make any attempt to save it. Inter Anizade's Alexandre Matos got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gonçalo Rego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Machado in the 29th minute of the match. Gonçalo Rego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Machado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Israel Moutinho in the 33rd minute of play forced Inter Anizade's goalkeeper Tiago Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Inter Anizade booed when Corsários do Farol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Valido didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alexandre Matos made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Corsários do Farol's Cristiano Bezerra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tiago Brito made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Tiago Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Macieira in the 56th minute of play. Tiago Brito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Israel Moutinho in the 58th minute of the match. André Machado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Gonçalo Rego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 63 minutes into the match, Inter Anizade's goal looked a bit too open when Israel Moutinho came free, but Tiago Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by António Bessa during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. António Bessa hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, André Machado fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gonçalo Rego, passed just outside the right post. The referee showed José Maciel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Alexandre Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Inter Anizade's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandre Matos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gonçalo Rego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Corsários do Farol getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Gualter Casado hit a great ball. Inter Anizade's Lúcio Gonçalves couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 87th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Corsários do Farol. In the 90th minute Óscar Regueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Brito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 90 minutes, André Machado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Inter Anizade and the Corsários do Farol players grew even worse after the yellow card. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Corsários do Farol fully deserved thier win.
