The SC Lavazdfeira fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. When the match had gone on for 88 minutes, Carlos Camargo took a quick shot and it went in 4-2 without a chance for Jordão Assunção to make any attempt to save it. In the 92nd minute Belchior Poças shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrício Monsanto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SC Lavazdfeira fully deserved thier win.
