Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Armindo Rocha kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Norberto Gueifão dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Albertino Moniz, 1-0. In the 7th minute, Armindo Rocha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Américo Couto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Albertino Moniz came out and tried to block the shot, but Américo Couto slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 11th minute. Gastão Poças made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Pinho in the 15th minute of play. SC Arrabal's Gastão Poças played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armindo Rocha in the 17th minute of play. With a little luck, Red Eagle's Albertino Moniz got control of the ball when Norberto Gueifão tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to SC Arrabal getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Norberto Gueifão hit a great ball. Albertino Moniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquim Onofre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of SC Arrabal booed when Red Eagle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Santarém didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nuno Varela struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Albertino Moniz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Arrabal. In the 33rd minute of the match, João Amaro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Albertino Moniz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Albertino Moniz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Américo Couto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 36 minutes, Joaquim Onofre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Arrabal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquim Onofre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damião Arruda hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Albertino Moniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim Onofre in the 39th minute of play. Joaquim Onofre received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Albertino Moniz came out and tried to block the shot, but Joaquim Onofre slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 43rd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Albertino Moniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Gueifão in the 55th minute of play. After 57 minutes of play, SC Arrabal's Joaquim Onofre made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albertino Moniz was left in no man's land by his defense there! 61 minutes into the game, João Amaro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Albertino Moniz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 65 minutes into the match, Red Eagle's goal looked a bit too open when Américo Couto came free, but Albertino Moniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Albertino Moniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Gueifão in the 66th minute of play. Gastão Poças took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armindo Rocha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Américo Couto hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Armindo Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot. Red Eagle's supporters rose to their feet, but Armindo Rocha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gastão Poças breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 75 minutes into the match, Red Eagle's goal looked a bit too open when Américo Couto came free, but Albertino Moniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Red Eagle getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Armando Lopes hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Red Eagle's Cláudio Leão got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 90th match minute, SC Arrabal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Américo Couto to maneuver through the defense. Gastão Poças made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Lourenço Moura sent off a good shot on target. Gastão Poças showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armindo Rocha in the 96th minute of the match. SC Arrabal walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
