The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Burnaria FC's Nuno Guimarães got a free kick in the 6th minute. Tiago Correia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseu Teves in the 8th minute of the match. Eliseu Teves might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tiago Correia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eliseu Teves ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eliseu Teves in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tiago Correia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 13 minutes into the game, Burnaria FC's Filipe Zarco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tiago Correia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 16 minutes into the match, Guilhabreu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseu Teves came free, but Tiago Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tiago Correia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseu Teves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiago Correia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eliseu Teves went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Jorge Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Silvério Graça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliseu Teves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tiago Correia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. After 30 minutes of play, Burnaria FC's Filipe Zarco made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tiago Correia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Silvério Graça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Soares in the 43rd minute of the match. Filipe Zarco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Correia having to interfere.

The wind increased when Fernando Soares made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Jorge Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guilhabreu FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jorge Amorim was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvério Graça breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filipe Zarco might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tiago Correia. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silvério Graça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Burnaria FC's Abílio Quadros pulled a muscle in his back after 80 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 80 minutes into the game, Fernando Soares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guilhabreu FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Burnaria FC the free kick. Fernando Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. A collision led to Guilhabreu FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Jorge Amorim hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the match, Guilhabreu FC's Fernando Soares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvério Graça narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paulino Henriques kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The Burnaria FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Burnaria FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
