Basílio Sousa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Eduardo Gueifão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of SC Orca booed when Guedieiros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gualter Vilela didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Marco Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 19th minute, SC Orca's Jacinto Antunes seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jacinto Antunes the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SC Orca protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jacinto Antunes had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for SC Orca! After 22 minutes, João Rocha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Orca and the Guedieiros FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to SC Orca getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. João Rocha hit a great ball. Gonçalo Domingos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Paulo Leiria made a huge save. Diamantino Miguéis scored 1-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paulo Leiria, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Marco Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Orca's Mariano Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Marco Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Duarte Viegas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marco Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Basílio Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 44 minutes, Mariano Cruz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SC Orca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mariano Cruz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mariano Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

Paulo Leiria came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Guedieiros FC's Gonçalo Domingos. But to his dismay, Gonçalo Domingos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Paulo Leiria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Caldeira in the 62nd minute of play. A collision led to SC Orca getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Eduardo Gueifão hit a great ball. Paulo Leiria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Caldeira in the 71st minute of the match. In the 72nd match minute, SC Orca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Gueifão to maneuver through the defense. Gualter Vilela kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, SC Orca's Marco Torres sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Basílio Sousa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Guedieiros FC's zone, Eduardo Gueifão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basílio Sousa came out of the goal and Eduardo Gueifão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marco Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Mariano Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duarte Viegas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduardo Gueifão hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Many of SC Orca's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. SC Orca may have spent more time on the ball, but Guedieiros FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
