An unexpectedly hard shot by Konstanty Scislowicz in the 14th minute of play forced Rapoila FC's goalkeeper João Seabra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, ATI QB's goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Cordeiro came free, but Manuel Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 18 minutes of play, Rapoila FC's Éder Baía made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manuel Monteiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Raul Assis's late challenge caught a Rapoila FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raul Assis helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, ATI QB's Raul Assis got a free kick in the 22nd minute. A hard shot by Rubim Rocha from long distance, 24 minutes into the match, got Manuel Monteiro's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 25th minute Aristides Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ernst Strömqvist came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the ATI QB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernst Strömqvist couldn't finish the play. 30 minutes into the game, ATI QB's Konstanty Scislowicz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Seabra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Konstanty Scislowicz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. João Seabra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rogério Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Afonso Lima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Seabra having to interfere. The wind increased when Aristides Cordeiro made the kick off in the second half. ATI QB's Manuel Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Éder Baía in the 62nd minute of play. After 69 minutes, Bernard Brzeszczak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ATI QB and the Rapoila FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to ATI QB getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Bernard Brzeszczak hit a great ball. Rubim Rocha took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Manuel Monteiro. ATI QB's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cristiano Sacramento took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manuel Monteiro. Manuel Monteiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 76th minute Aristides Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Konstanty Scislowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 80 minutes of play, Rapoila FC's Aristides Cordeiro made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manuel Monteiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jerónimo Trancoso during the 85th minute. Éder Baía hit a great ball. Rapoila FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of ATI QB for a fine match.
