Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Manuel Vieira made the kick off which started today's match. Alexandre Tavares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Catarino Moutinho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manuel Cabral went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 15th minute, Alexandre Tavares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Manuel Vieira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Catarino Moutinho came out and tried to block the shot, but Manuel Vieira slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 20th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulo Figueiredo got free with Catarino Moutinho in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Catarino Moutinho was a little too slow when Manuel Vieira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 3-0. Alexandre Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Tomás Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, André Matos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Catarino Moutinho. Amarante FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that André Matos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Manuel Cabral kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Catarino Moutinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Fernando Ribeiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomás Moreira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fernando Ribeiro ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 47th minute of the match, Manuel Cabral got a very nice opportunity to score, but Catarino Moutinho was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, Amarante FC's Catarino Moutinho got control of the ball when Manuel Cabral tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fernando Ribeiro to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Amarante FC defense, André Matos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Catarino Moutinho. The Amarante FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Catarino Moutinho should have stopped the shot. In the 57th minute Manuel Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Catarino Moutinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amarante FC's Catarino Moutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Cabral in the 61st minute of play. Alexandre Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomás Moreira having to interfere. In the 72nd match minute, Alcoutim FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Lima to maneuver through the defense. Tomás Moreira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Ribeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Catarino Moutinho came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Alcoutim FC's Adelino Lima. But to his dismay, Adelino Lima quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Alcoutim FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
